Travel now, pay later!

Example: On March 5, you spend RUB 2,000 with your Aeroflot-Citibank credit card. Then, on March 10, you pay for an Aeroflot e-ticket and place a hotel reservation for a total amount of RUB 50,000. According to the statement, your total debt will be RUB 52,000. You have two repayment options to choose from:
  • Option one: You repay the full amount of RUB 52,000 during the Grace period and pay no interest.
  • Option two: You make a purchase for RUB 50,000 under the Equal Payment Plan. For example, if your repayment period is 36 months, and according to your statement you pay just RUB 4,068.18 in the current period. This payment will include the amount of your purchase of March 5 (RUB 2,000), and your monthly payment under the Equal Payment Plan, which is RUB 2,068.184. If you pay RUB 4,068.18 by the date specified in your statement, no interest will accrue on the RUB 2,000 subject to the terms of the Grace period. And on the RUB 50,000, under the Equal Payment Plan interest will accrue at the reduced monthly rate of 2.34%!
