Can the limit on my credit line be extended?
The initially set credit line can be extended in the future. For the bank to take an extension decision, you will need to submit the documents confirming your income growth: NDFL 2 Income Statement (Individual Income Tax Form).

What amount can I withdraw in cash and what will it cost me?
The cash withdrawal limit is fixed individually for each customer in percents of the credit line. The cash withdrawal fee is you may find in Tariffs.

What income makes me eligible to apply for a credit card?
Minimum confirmed income required to apply for a credit card is RUB 15 000 per month.

Can I apply for a credit card if my reported monthly income according to the NDFL 2 Form (Individual Income Tax Form) is less than RUB 15 000?
Yes, you can. In addition to the abovementioned Form, Citibank can accept alternative documents, confirming your income. In particular, you can submit:
- Statement confirming the payments for mobile communication for the last three months, if the mobile number is registered on your name and used by you personally. The amount of monthly payments has to be no less than RUB 15000 per month.
- Copy of the Vehicle Registration Certificate for a vehicle registered on your name.
The statement has to be authenticated by the stamp of the company - mobile communication operator. Please note that Citibank accepts statements for contract subscribers only. Bills for up-front payments rates (such as "Jeans", "Bee+" or "O-Lite!" rate planes) at this moment are not accepted. The mobile services statement should be not older than 30 days on the date of applying.

What makes a principal card different from supplementary one?
Supplementary credit card differs from the main card only by a lower annual service charge, but the same package of services is offered to its holders as to the holders of the main card.

What spend limit may be assigned to a supplementary card?
A supplementary card may be assigned a spend limit within the credit limit on the primary card, with the minimum of RUB 9,000.

How does a supplementary card work?
- If the credit limit on the supplementary card = the credit limit on the primary card
Both you and the supplementary cardholder have access to the same amount of funds for retail transactions or cash advances, at any time.
Whenever the account is credited or debited, the available limit changes accordingly both for you and for the supplementary cardholder by the transaction amount, regardless which of the card it was charged to.
- If the credit limit on the supplementary card < the credit limit on the primary card
The supplementary cardholder can make credit card payments or get cash advances within the credit limit assigned by the primary cardholder.
The credit limit on the supplementary card is restored once a month on the primary credit card statement date (provided there are sufficient funds on the primary credit card account).

How can I restore the available limit on the supplementary card before the credit card statement date?
To restore the available limit on the supplementary card before the credit card statement date, you always have the following Citibank services at your disposal:
You can increase the credit limit assigned to the supplementary card at any time by calling 24-hour CitiPhone Banking or visiting any Citibank branch, and your supplementary cardholder will be able to additionally spend the amount which is the difference between the new and the old limit.
The new credit limit will be fully available on the credit card statement date (provided there are sufficient funds on the primary credit card account).

What is Grace Period?
Grace Period allows credit card holder to use the credit line free of charge for a certain period of time from the moment of purchase. This Grace Period may reach up to 50 days. Whenever you repay the outstanding balance in full before the date, specified in statement, the bank does not charge interest on using the credit line.

What do I need Grace Period For?
It is convenient in a situation when you need additional funds to cover your expenses, both planned and unforeseen. Virtually, you get an opportunity to spend the bank's money as if they were yours, at no additional cost.

Who is eligible for Grace Period?
Grace Period is available to all cardholders - both existing and new customers of Citibank (excluding Instant Credit Cards holders).

Do I have to inform the Citibank of my intention to use the Grace Period (similar to the "Equal Payments Plan!")?
No, you don't. Grace Period is granted to all customers by default, free of charge.

What operations are covered by the Grace Period?
Grace Period only applies to payments for goods and services with a credit card (cash free purchases of goods in stores, purchase of membership with sports clubs, etc).

What operations are not covered by the Grace Period?
Grace Period does not apply to "Equal Payments Plan (EPP)" and cash withdrawal transactions, including unique/quasi-cash transactions defined by payment systems as transactions in highly liquid assets (e.g. money orders, payment for casino and gambling house services, etc.).

What are unique/quasi-cash transactions?
Unique/quasi-cash transactions represent transactions in highly liquid assets, i.e. ones that are directly convertible to cash, such as, but not limited to, transfers to deposit accounts with other banks, purchases of casino gaming chips and travelers cheques, the loading of some electronic purses.

How do I repay the outstanding balance on my credit card to enjoy the Grace Period?
Each month you will receive a credit card statement, which indicates your outstanding balance, minimum monthly payment, and a period during which you have to deposit money to repay the debt. To enjoy the Grace Period you should repay the whole amount of debt, indicated in the statement in due time. In this case, the interest rate on payment transactions, which is indicated in the statement, will not be charged.

I have covered my debt only in part - am I eligible for the Grace Period in the following month?
Yes, if you repay in full the amount of debt indicated in the statement in the following month. In this case, Grace Period will apply only to those operations, which were made during the applicable month.
For example, you made a purchase in January and have received the statement. For whatever reason you have not repaid this amount in full, you cannot be granted Grace Period for January transactions. In February you make another purchase and receive the statement, which reflects the outstanding balance. If you cover the February debt amount in full, you will be granted Grace Period on operations made in February.

Right now I have a debt on my credit card. How will Grace Period affect this amount?
After the introduction of Grace Period (from February 2005) you will receive a monthly statement which reflects the outstanding balance and the time when it is due to be settled. To enjoy Grace Period you will have to repay this amount in full. If the amount is repaid partially, the bank will charge interest regularly, according to the rates. Yes, you are. Monthly payment under "Equal Payments Plan!" is added to the outstanding balance. If this amount is paid on time and in full, you will be granted Grace Period on regular operations. At the same time, the "Equal Payments Plan!" operation is paid in a regular manner, in equal installments, including charged interest.

From what moment is the interest charged?
Whenever you fail to settle the debt in full until the date indicated in the statement, the interest will be charged in accordance with the rates as of the date of purchase until full repayment.

How can I learn the repayment deadline?
The deadline is indicated every month in the credit card statement (in hard or electronic copy). All customers of the bank that got their credit cards before February 1, 2005 will receive the new edition of the Terms and Conditions of Credit Card Services provided to the Customers by mail, along with an information letter from the bank. As of January 1, 2005 an amendment to the Tax Code was enforced, that is related to granting grace period for credit cards. In accordance with the amendment the benefit, gained by the client as a result of using the credit line on concessionary terms, determined by the bank and the client in an agreement, is not subject to taxation.

Bonus points are calculated on the last business day of each calendar month and are credited to the MegaFon-Bonus account between the 5th and 20th of the current month for the previous month.
