Insurance programs

Citibank takes care of its customers and together with ROSNO insurance company offers to credit card holders a unique opportunity — Repayment insurance program. Should a cardholder experience loss of labor capacity or in case of their death, their debt will be repaid at insurer's expense.

Program Mechanics

In case of an accident or disease of the holder, the insurance company will settle the debt on credit card. Insurance amount is determined by the size of the debt on a card and varies between RUB 155 and 320 000.

• 100% of the insurance amount, effective as of date of insured event: death or disablement (Type 1 or 2);
• 0.333% of the insurance amount, effective as of date of insured event, for every day of temporary loss of labor capacity resulted from an accident, starting on the 31st day of continuous loss of labor capacity, or for every day starting from the 31st day of staying at round-the-clock medical surveillance clinic, which lasted continuously from the 1st day of staying in round-the-clock clinic, in case of temporary loss of labor capacity resulted by natural causes.

Cost of insurance program

A commission of 0.79% of an outstanding credit card account balance on the date of statement issue is charged monthly from your account.

The insurance commission is due only in case of existing outstanding balance.

Who is eligible for the insurance program?

Citibank credit card holders, aged between 22 and 60, that haven't been on medical care in a hospital for the last 12 months and do not suffer chronic deceases, are eligible for the program. You can quit the program at any time.
