Individual Insurance Program provides insurance coverage for Citibank credit card holders, in case of permanent total disability, bodily damage or death of the Insured Person due to an accident.
Family Insurance Program provides insurance coverage for Citibank credit card holders, their spouses, and children aged from 2 to 18 years, in case of permanent total disability, bodily damage or death due to an accident (for adult family members), and in case of child's disability or bodily damage due an accident.
How does Personal Accident Insurance work?
Personal Accident Insurance becomes effective as of the first day of the month following the month in which the first insurance premium was paid and continues throughout the validity period of your Citibank card, provided regular premium payments are made. ZAO Insurance Company AIG Life will pay insurance money to the Insured Person or his/her relatives under the chosen insurance program if an accident has resulted in tragic consequences - permanent and total disability or the loss of life. Payments will be made in full, regardless of whether or not there are any other insurance plans and allowances.
Who is eligible for Personal Accident Insurance?
Credit card holders and their lawful spouses aged from 18 to 64 years as well as their children of 2 to 18 years old (within the bounds of the Family Insurance Program), on condition that they are not disabled (disability group I or II), do not require continuous care, and do not suffer from mental illnesses and/or disorders, AIDS or HIV-infection. How to cancel Personal Accident Insurance
You may cancel the insurance at any time by giving written notice at any ZAO Citibank branch in Russia, and, if you do so within the first month of your insurance activation date, the insurance premium will not be charged, or, if it has been paid, will be refunded.

* "Common carrier" means any land, water or air conveyance properly registered for the purposes of using it as passenger transport running on regular routes according to the timetable.
