As you have heard or read in the press Citibank US blocked some debit cards due to fraudulent usage of these cards in UK, Canada and Russia due to a possible PIN compromise at a 3rd party vendor in the US.

The incident affects customers in the US. We have not blocked cards of any Citibank Russia customers. The limited US card holders affected have been contacted and their cards will be re-issued.
