- Can I use Citibank Online?
If you are a Citibank customer, and have "CitiOne" or "CitiGold“ packages, and/or you have Citibank credit card, you can use "Citibank Online".

- What is the fee for using Citibank Online?
Using Citibank Online is free.
For some transfers a regular fee set out in Tariffs may apply. Transfer fees for Citibank Online initiated transfers are less than they are in other channels.
Currency conversion is made at the internal bank rate applicable at the day of transaction. Information regarding current currency rates is available in “Service” section at Citibank Online.
Please note that your Internet provider may charge connection fees.
- What Do I need to use Citibank Online?
For accessing Citibank Online you will need:
- Internet connection;
- Internet browser, supporting 128-bits encryption.
You will also need to go through short registration on the www.citibank.ru and create user name and password. It will take you just a minute.
- What can I do in Citibank Online?
With Citibank Online you can perform a variety of operations with your accounts and cards. You can transfer rubles, US dollars, and euros between your accounts, make transfers to the third parties in Russia and abroad. You can also pay bills to telecom companies and open time deposits.
Citibank Online keeps you informed about your accounts’ balance, loans and credit cards. You can repay your credit card online, view electronic statement – a printer friendly PDF version of the regular statement. Finally, you can quickly and securely communicate your questions and concerns to the bank and get a prompt reply from our customer service.

- Can I download information from Citibank Online?
Yes, you can download account activity from Citibank Online in the following formats:
- CSV (comma separated values) – text file with comma separated values (can be easily opened in Excel)
- QIF for Microsoft® Money™
- QIF for Quicken ™ - for Quicken Personal Finance
To do this you need to click on «Download account activity» option in «Account Info» menu and select account and dates for download.
- Are there any transaction limits set up in Citibank Online?
Yes, certain limits apply in Citibank Online. Yan transfer up to 600 000 RUB per transaction. This is not including transfers between your own accounts in the same currency (example, from current rubles account to savings rubles account).
Daily limit is 600 000 rubles.
The system will let you know once you had exceeded the daily limit or limit per transaction.
Questions on user registration process
- How to create user name and password?
On the home page click on «Log in Citibank Online» after sign on page appears, click on «Create your user ID».
Input your card number and ATM PIN using virtual keyboard. Then click «Continue».
Create your password and user ID that you will use to log in to Citibank Online. Please also select security questions and input answers to them using virtual keyboard. Then click «Continue».
If all entries are correct you will see User’s Agreement on the next page. Carefully read it and press «I Agree» button for proceeding with registration.
- What card (debit or credit card) should I use for creating user name and password?
If you have both debit and credit cards, please use your debit card to create your User name and Password.
This will let you to get information about all your accounts and credit cards.
If you create use name and password for your credit card, you will be able to access only credit card.
- What do I do if I forget my password?
To reset your password, please click on “Help” link on the sign on page. After pop up window opens please click on “password reset” link. You will have to input your user name, card number and ATM PIN and press “ continue” button. On the next page you will need to input your new password, confirm it, and answer to two security questions you had set up earlier.
- What do I do if I forget my user name?
To reset your password, please click on “Help” link on the sign on page. After pop up window is uploaded please click on “User Id reminder” link. You will need to input your card number and ATM PIN and system will show you your user name.
- What do I do if I forget answers to my security questions?
Security questions are required for password reset. If you give wrong answers on security questions more than twice you Citibank Online access becomes blocked. To unblock your Citibank Online access, please call 24-hour CitiPhone banking:

- What do I do if Citibank Online shows message: I'm sorry. One of the characters you entered is not allowed...
Citibank Online shows message:
I'm sorry. One of the characters you entered is not allowed by the system for security reasons. For your protection, your request has been stopped. You may try this request again or try another one by selecting one of the options displayed.
The reason for the issue may be that You try to enter Citibank Online using saved link or last session files were saved in Cookies. Delete Cookies in Your browser and enter web site by typing www.citibank.ru in the browser address field.

- Is Citibank Online is secure enough?
In Citibank Online we use the latest security standards to protect your confidential information when working on-line.
All information is transmitted via SSL-protocol with the use of 128-bit encryption (Triple DES algorithm).
Moreover, additional protection online includes automatic disconnect if you have not been active for more than 5 minutes in Citibank Online;
last login date and time display; virtual keyboard to enter PIN Code and password.

- What can I do more to avoid fraud risk in Internet?
Banking online can be very convenient and secure if you take a few simple precautions. Here are a few suggestions to help you have a secure online banking experience:
- Avoid suspicious websites. DO NOT provide any information, which these sites request. When accessing www.citibank.ru, type in this address directly into the address bar of the browser.
- Be aware of phishing. Contact us immediately if you get a suspicious mail pretending to be from Citibank. We NEVER ask for your personal information, card number, PIN, user name and password through e-mail or any other way.
- Avoid using online banking services in public places such as internet cafes, airport terminal etc. When exiting from Citibank Online always press the Logout button instead of just closing the browser window.
