Funds transfers from Citibank Credit Card

Starting June 15, 2010 Citibank gives an opportunity to make transfers from your credit card to a third party's account or your account in other banks of Russia free of charge.*


How to use the service?


In order to make transfer from your credit card to card to a third party's account or your account in other banks of Russia you should just call 24-hour CitiPhone Banking at:

+7 (495) 775-75-75 in Moscow,
+7 (812) 336-75-75 in St. Petersburg,
8 (800) 700-38-38 for other cities in Russia

and provide a Citibank employee with the bank details:

  • Name of the beneficiary bank
  • BIC of the beneficiary bank
  • Correspondent account of the beneficiary bank
  • Beneficiary account number
  • Beneficiary name
  • Payment details (purpose of the payment, invoice number if applicable, etc.)
Also please be aware that transfers from your credit card to a third party's account or your account in other banks of Russia are possible only in rubles.


Who can use the service?


You can use this service if your credit card meets the following requirements and you are a resident of Russian Federation:

  • Credit card issued more than 3 months ago
  • Positive credit card history

What are conditions of the provided service?


Minimum transfer amount: 3,600 rubles

Maximum transfer amount: available credit card limit**

Commission for transfer - 0 %


* Grace period does not apply to funds transfer from Citibank Credit Card.

** For credit cards issued less that 6 months ago transfer to a third party's account or your account in other banks of Russia is available only within cash withdrawal limit.
