Attention! The number that is indicated on your credit card (16 digits) is not the account number where the money is transferred.


3. Fill and pass to the post employee the form of mail transfer
The instruction aimed at helping you to fill the form is given below. The addresses of the offices of the Russian post you can learn from the information on web site.

You must save the receipt given to you!

Should the money transferred fail to get to your account with Citibank claim the post office which you used for transferring the money against the receipt.


  1. In the column "Mail transfer (electronic)" the payment is indicated in figures and below the same amount of money is given in full. Pay attention to the fact that the commission for this transfer is not paid.
  2. In the column "Where to" the following is indicated: 106000, «Федеральный клиент» ЗАО КБ «Ситибанк».
  3. In the column "To whom" the following is indicated: name, surname of the credit card owner*.
  4. In the column "Payer" name, surname of the payer**.
  5. In the column "Address" the address of the payer is indicated.
  6. In the column "Message" double-digit prefix 01 is indicated. Then (without void interval) the account number is indicated that consists of 20 digits where the sum of money is transferred (how to learn the account number is mentioned above).
* For the exception of the additional credit cards owners.
** The payer can be not only the owner of the credit card but also any other person to whom the owner of the credit card (for the exception of the additional credit cards owners) granted all the necessary data for the transfer.

Transferring the necessary sum of money you confirm that this operation is not the exchange transaction prohibited by the exchange regulation of the Russian Federation or the operation that should be reflected in certain special accounts and besides does not violate the Russian Federation legislation.


4. It is not necessary for you to go personally to the post office
The payment can be made by your authorized person. The only thing that should be done is that you must tell this person the account number. Placing the transferred money to the account usually takes 5 working days. To avoid the very possibility of being fined you should transfer the necessary sum of money 5 days before the deadline of debt repayment.
