More privileges with Aeroflot-Citibank credit card

Dear Customers!

From May 6, 2019, all Aeroflot-Citibank credit cards will be issued on the premium Visa Signature platform. This will open access to additional privileges, such as free Internet abroad, discounts for hotels, taxis, in restaurants and for renting cars.

For customers who already have an Aeroflot-Citibank card, it will be re-issued for free. At the same time, the card limit, interest rate, cost of annual maintenance, services and commissions will remain the same in accordance with the applicable tariffs.

Make Cash Deposits at MCB CDMs!

We have pleasure in announcing that you can now deposit cash towards your loan, credit or debit card, or make a deposit into your current account, at the cash deposit machines (CDMs) operated by the Moscow Credit Bank (MCB).

It’s easy and convenient!

The MCB’s network comprises 4,500-plus CDMs at the most frequented locations across Russia: shopping malls, gas stations, restaurants, etc.

How to make a deposit

Make sure to have your credit or debit card with you.

Select “Bill Payment → Banks, Loans → Citibank” in the CDM’s menu. Insert the card and enter your PIN. Once your PIN has been accepted, the machine will ask you to remove the card and make your deposit.

A per transaction limit of RUB 15,000 applies. Money will be received in the account immediately. No transaction fee applies.

  • Quick cash advance
    Get cash on your credit card on special terms if you have an offer from the bank. The money will be transferred to any Citibank or non-Citibank account in Russia free of charge. The transfer will be booked as an Equal Payment Plan transaction bearing a lower interest rate.
  • Equal Payment Plan (EPP)
    Book your purchases as EPP transactions. This will help you save on interest and keep your grace period for other purchases. If you have an offer from the bank, you can also book a part or all of your statement amount as EPP.
  • Change PIN
    Forgot your PIN or someone has seen it? You can set up a new PIN directly in the app.
  • A new “Rewards” section
    Bonus points, miles, discounts, special offers... See them all in one section.
  • Statements in the PDF format
    You can view and download any credit card statement for the past 12 months.

In our news release of December 25, 2018, titled «Changes to the Consumer Banking Terms and Conditions and the Tariffs (CitiOne® and Citibank® bank service packages)», there was a mistake in the section «Funds Transfers and Payments» of the then attached CitiOne and Citibank Bank Service Packages Tariffs.

The correct fee amount for outgoing card-to-card RUB transfers to other banks in Russia through Citibank® Online for CitiOne Plus/Professional is RUB 50 + 0.75% of the transaction amount.

Citibank continues the transformation of its consumer clients service model and long-term strategy implementation in Russia

Moscow — In 2019, Citibank continues the transformation of its consumer client service model. The main target of this transformation is digitization — implementation of high-end digital technologies to improve customer experience and enhancement of customer interaction through partnerships with leading companies in different industries.

Citibank has been registering a constant decline in overall number of branch visits and transaction volume since 2014. At the same time the volume of clients` transactions in digital channels is steadily growing: today 93% of Citibank clients use digital channels, 96% of total transactions and 99% of total payments are done online, 83% of deposits are opened through mobile or online application and 97% of FX transactions are performed via remote channels, including 50% through mobile or online application.

The number of mobile application users has grown by 14% in 2018 while number of clients using only mobile application has grown by 30%. At the same time the volume of CitiPhone calls decreased by 16% during last year.

During the course of 2019, Citibank scheduled to optimize few of its branches: in the first quarter of the year branches — Bolshaya NIkitskaya and Krasnaya Presnya in Moscow as well as Bolshoy Prospekt in Saint Petersburg will be closed. In the fourth quarter branches — Marksistskaya, Ostozhenka, Aviapark, Leninskiy and Metropolis will be closed in Moscow. At the end of 2019, Citibank will initiate a process of opening a new hub for clients of all segments.
